Season of Crochet and Cork

This season we are seeing a lot of crochet and cork on shoes.  I love it, but I noticed some people are not digging the cork.  I did find this shoe from Lucky Brand that features crochet that I thought was very nice.

Lucky Brand Rilo Crochet Wedge

This is the Lucky Brand Rilo Crochet Wedge.  The crochet macrame fabric upper is the perfect Spring/Summer shoe.  It comes in beautiful colors, Mint, Natural, Tulip Pink, and Black.  It is a high shoe, with an almost 5 inch heel.  But it feels like almost 4 inches because of the platform.  I tried them on at Dillard's in the Cottonwood Mall and found them quite comfortable.  I always feel so short, but these really made me walk with my head held high.  I tried them on with a cute skirt and the outfit worked.  They retail for $89.  I would definitely add this to my shoe collection.  The only problem I can see is the open toe.  As we all know, sometimes with an open toe your foot slides to the front and can hurt after awhile.  But the cuteness of this shoe out weighs the pain in my opinion.

Jessica Simpson Can Do No Wrong!!

Jessica Simpson can do no wrong!!  I said it and I stand behind it.  I love her, I love her clothes, and I especially love her shoes!!!

Jessica Simpson Dany T-Strap Sandal

This is my shoe for Easter.  The Dany T-Strap Sandal is soft and yet gives you the height that you need if you are vertical challenge such as myself.  This light beige cork upper with a crochet overlay is perfect.  The ankle strap with buckle is adjustable so it will fit you just right.  It has a padded footbed.  But the key is the rubber outsole, making it a tall shoe that is not scary to walk in.  The heel is 5 and a half inches.

I will admit, for Jessica Simpson shoes, I usually go straight to a size 10 for my normally size 9 to 9 1/2 foot.  I just find the 10's to be the best fit.  I have never had any trouble whatsever with this brand.  Granted they are high, but I can wear them all day and never feel like my feet are killing me.

I found these at Dillard's in the Cottonwood Mall.  They only come in the beige color, but it is honestly the perfect hue.  It will go with just about anything.  With shoes, I love a multi-tasker, meaning you can wear it with different outfits and styles.  With Jessica Simpson's I have found you can do just that.  This is perfect for Easter Sunday with your beautiful Church dress, but you can also pair it with a cute short or flowy skirt.

They retail for around $98, but you can always catch a sale at Dillard's or use your Dillard's charge card to save some money.  When you do take these beautiful shoes home, know you have a style that will last for many seasons.

Candy Ballet Flats....LOVE

I just started wearing jeans for the first time since grade school this year.  There is nothing I love more than a cute pair of Ballet Flats to finish off the look.  Looking through Dillard's at the Cottonwood Mall yesterday I spotted just the right look for me.

Gianni Bini, I have said it before and I will say it again, you can't go wrong with this Designer.  These are super cute!!  I love how the studs add shimmer to the sides of the shoe.   And the stretchy sides add to the comfort of the shoe.  They come in a variety of colors and patterns.

I went home with the Navy Striped pair.  They retail for $59.99.  I know with the name Gianni Bini they will last me forever and with this classic style you can't go wrong.  I wore them to the supermarket later on and three women stopped me to ask where I bought them.

Glam Time!!!

I have an event coming up that I need the perfect shoe for.  I decided to take a look in Dillard's at the Cottonwood Mall.  I found a pair that I think we can all agree are classy and stunning.

Gianni Bini Anna

I have many Gianni Bini shoes in my closet, and now I have one more pair.  This peep toe features a beautiful jeweled detail.  The style is named Anna and comes in Sierra Tan.  The heel is 4 & 1/4 inches.  Even though it is high, the comfort level is there.  You will be able to dance all night long.  After I debut them at my event I could totally see myself wearing them with a pair of jeans to work.  The price-point is $80, but as we all know and love, Dillard's is famous for their terrific sales.

Gianni Bini is a brand that you will keep and cherish for years to come.  The classic look never goes out of style.  They are the kind of shoes that make you lose your breath everytime you open the box!!
