Walking Shoes For The Pilgrimage

The annual Pilgrimage to Chimayo is upon us.  You need the perfect shoe to get through the more than 11 mile trek.

New Balance Cardio Comfort Training Shoe

I found these on dillards.com and went to try them on in the store.  New Balance has always been a sneaker I have enjoyed in the past.  These are comfortable.  They even have a special feature, they are actually designed to "Wake up your feet" for an extra energized workout.  They even have a no-sew material upper with a stretch quarter which gives the sneaker a slipper-like feel.  They come in this pink and black color that goes with just about every workout outfit you can come up with. 

They retail for around $85.  And are available at the Dillard's inside the Cottonwood Mall.

What is your Favorite Shoe......

I can talk about shoes all day long.  And I know many of you out there can too.  I want to hear from you today.  What are some of your favorite designers??  I have so many.  I love love love Jessica Simpson.  Steve Madden are some of the sexiest shoes ever.  I think what makes a great shoe for me is of course style, but comfort is important also.  I am a morning radio shoe host in Albuquerque.  I have to be at work by 430 AM.  I am usually done with work around 11, but that doesn't mean the day is over.  I have appearances and training at LA Boxing.  I need shoes that are going to keep my feet happy for many hours.  I would love to see what shoes my readers are wearing.  Send me your pics or inbox me.  I love to see styles that are new to me!!

Jessica Simpson Can Do No Wrong!!

Jessica Simpson can do no wrong!!  I said it and I stand behind it.  I love her, I love her clothes, and I especially love her shoes!!!

Jessica Simpson Dany T-Strap Sandal

This is my shoe for Easter.  The Dany T-Strap Sandal is soft and yet gives you the height that you need if you are vertical challenge such as myself.  This light beige cork upper with a crochet overlay is perfect.  The ankle strap with buckle is adjustable so it will fit you just right.  It has a padded footbed.  But the key is the rubber outsole, making it a tall shoe that is not scary to walk in.  The heel is 5 and a half inches.

I will admit, for Jessica Simpson shoes, I usually go straight to a size 10 for my normally size 9 to 9 1/2 foot.  I just find the 10's to be the best fit.  I have never had any trouble whatsever with this brand.  Granted they are high, but I can wear them all day and never feel like my feet are killing me.

I found these at Dillard's in the Cottonwood Mall.  They only come in the beige color, but it is honestly the perfect hue.  It will go with just about anything.  With shoes, I love a multi-tasker, meaning you can wear it with different outfits and styles.  With Jessica Simpson's I have found you can do just that.  This is perfect for Easter Sunday with your beautiful Church dress, but you can also pair it with a cute short or flowy skirt.

They retail for around $98, but you can always catch a sale at Dillard's or use your Dillard's charge card to save some money.  When you do take these beautiful shoes home, know you have a style that will last for many seasons.

These are Skechers Bobs Ballerinas.  I will be honest, at first I wasn't loving these.  But then, I tried them on.  They are actually very cool shoes.  They are lightweight and come in so many different patterns now.  I think it would be a perfect shoe for the summer with some shorts.  I would even take them with me on a camping trip.  The best part of buying a pair of Bobs is that Skechers will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need to match your purchase.

Jaclyn Striped Gore by Rocket Dog

Rocket Dog debuts the Jaclyn.  This slip on wedge sandal with Criss Cross Gore Upper is perfect for the warm spring days ahead.  It has a 2 inch platform with a 4 inch heel.  They are available in striped and black.  I can picture wearing these wedges with a pair of shorts.

Candy Ballet Flats....LOVE

I just started wearing jeans for the first time since grade school this year.  There is nothing I love more than a cute pair of Ballet Flats to finish off the look.  Looking through Dillard's at the Cottonwood Mall yesterday I spotted just the right look for me.

Gianni Bini Candy Ballet Flats

Gianni Bini, I have said it before and I will say it again, you can't go wrong with this Designer.  These are super cute!!  I love how the studs add shimmer to the sides of the shoe.   And the stretchy sides add to the comfort of the shoe.  They come in a variety of colors and patterns.

I went home with the Navy Striped pair.  They retail for $59.99.  I know with the name Gianni Bini they will last me forever and with this classic style you can't go wrong.  I wore them to the supermarket later on and three women stopped me to ask where I bought them.

Date Night!!

There is nothing like a great wedge combined with a great print.  CL by Chinese Laundry are perfect when you are tyring to make your feet pop.
